Yes, the Curt RockerBall Shock Absorbing 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # C29FR is just a ball mount with a rubber base to absorb road shock for a more comfortable towing experience and would not have any compatibility issues with any braking systems or trailers without brakes. view full answer...
If you have the factory gooseneck prep package on your 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 there isn't an offset ball that will work, though I can tell you how to determine if a Reese Goose Box will give you enough clearance to make a 90 degree turn with your truck.
You will use this formula: (A + B) - C = Clearance
A = Distance from center of gooseneck ball to truck cab
B = Length of offset (this will be zero for the Goose Box and no offset ball)
C = Width of trailer divided by 2
You want the "Clearance"... view full answer...
Yes, it is true that most types of 5th wheel to gooseneck adapters will cause stresses on the trailer's frame and in some instances may actually void the warranty on the trailer frame. However, there is one type of 5th wheel to gooseneck adapter that does NOT place any extra stress on the coach's frame and that will NOT void your frame warranty. That type of adapter is called a Goosebox, made by Reese.
A Goosebox such as # RP85FR is a replacement pin box that bolts on in place of your... view full answer...
I reached out to our local GMC dealer and they assured me that since you are only removing the negative terminals they can be disconnected in any order and reconnected the same.
A Battery Disconnect Switch # SE73FR can be used to make disconnecting and reconnecting an easier process. As these are rated for up to 50 volts DC and 1,250 cranking amps they will be sufficient for your batteries. view full answer...
The Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate # VGM-07-4000 doesn't have to be locked in order to drive around, it's just recommended to lock it because it installs and removes so easily that someone could take off with it in just a few minutes.
There are latches on both ends of the tailgate that match the ones on your factory tailgate and hold it in place. The center release mechanism that includes the lock would have to be physically turned to release the latches and... view full answer...
The 15 amp fuse for the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System # LC358590 should be in line with the Control Panel for Lippert Ground Control 3.0 # LC421484, not the Touchscreen Remote w/ Charger for Lippert Ground Control 3.0 # LC358601.
It is most likely an in-line fuse on the wiring for the Control Panel for Lippert Ground Control 3.0 # LC421484, so I would trace your wiring back from the control panel until you locate the fuse. view full answer...
The Hydrastar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Adapter Module for Ford and Chevy Brake Controllers # HBA-CAM is not needed for your integrated TBC on your 2022 GMC Sierra 3500HD Dually.

To determine the correct height for your Curt A30 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C16070 installed on your 2022 GMC Sierra 3500HD, you'll want to measure from the top of your truck bed floor to the ground, then measure from the plate of the pin box on the trailer down to the ground when the trailer is on level ground. The difference of those two measurements is the correct hitch height you're going to need. view full answer...

There is a potential solution for you but the Arched Loading Ramp Set # 288-07432-2 you referenced would not work with your 2017 GMC Sierra 2500HD with a 39-1/2 inch bed height.
Instead, you may be able to use the Erickson Arched, Aluminum Loading Ramp Set # EM07486. These do not have a specific loading height so I spoke with a representative of Erickson who told me that they will work so long as the angle of incline is about 30 degrees or less.
Based on the math of a colleague (thanks... view full answer...
We do not have a cross reference for OEM's travel trailers that would identify your pin box brand or model. You could call the manufacturer with VIN and ask them or because this is a brand new trailer, or call the dealership you bought it from.
Please also note the attached article below that will tell you all about pin boxes and how to measure the bolt pattern, you can then determine what replacements work from using this to identify what you have.
For example, if your bolt pattern matches... view full answer...

It's very common that the legs of a fifth wheel hitch have to be loosened in order to drop into the pucks in the truck bed. With you only have an 1/8" gap the legs of your Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C97FR most likely just were sitting perfectly straight so it's nothing to worry about. Typically we recommend have the legs torqued down to the main body of the hitch and then just loosening the castle nut on the feet of the hitch to get them to drop into the pucks and then retightening them. view full answer...
The only difference between the Curt Flex Air and Lippert Trailair # LC155943 is simply just the name. Lippert purchased Curt awhile back and has been rebranding some of their products under the Curt name so as we go through stock the Lippert Trailair name will eventually go away. The real difference maker here is going to be the bolt pattern of the pin box on your trailer. The # LC155943 is designed to fit an 1116 bolt pattern.
If you look at your current pin box there should be a tag/sticker... view full answer...
